Our oenologists' opinion
Fruity and well-rounded
Amber color. Frank nose with aromas of fresh spices and gingerbread. Toasted and brioche notes. Supple attack with fullness and balance. Frank, spicy length, on honey and dried fruits. Persistent finish on aromas of candied citrus fruits.
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.
Domain and appellation
Brasserie Toussaint opened in May 2016 in Louveciennes, two kilometers from Versailles. We offer several recipes that are intended to appeal to as many people as possible. We make it a point of honor to create simple recipes that often showcase French hops! We brew and bottle as a family in our own brewery.
We carefully choose our products as close as possible to the brewery, in order to convey to consumers the true pleasure of a craft and local beer.
