The « Vino dei Poeti Prosecco Spumante DOCG » is a wine exclusively produced from the grape variety called Giera, coming from the hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene (Vénétia, province of Trévise). Located between the Dolomites and the Adriatic Sea, this area is characterized by an ideal climate for the culture of vines which, there, find the perfect conditions of temperature, humidity, sun exposure and supply in water and nutrients.

Les proseccos “Spumente” se différencient des proseccos “Frizzante” par leurs concentrations en “bollicine” (bulles en italiens). Les premiers, plus riches en bulles, sont d’ailleurs fermés avec un bouchon à muselet tandis que les seconds sont clos à l’aide d’un bouchon à ficelle, le fameux “spago.”
