Our oenologists' opinion

Fruity and crisp

Its golden color with green tints offers a nice open nose with aromas of lemon, grapefruit with blackcurrant tip and white flowers. As for the taste, it is balanced, honest with a fresh finish on citrus.

Green Gold

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Do you know ?

Baron Philippe de Rothschild profoundly affected the wine industry. He succeeded notably in 1973 by changing the famous and prestigious classification of 1855 by reclassifying the Château Mouton Rothschild 2nd Classified Growth to Premier Grand Cru Classé. Only three amendments were made on the ranking of the international prestige since 1855.
