How the MAISON NICOLAS loyalty card works
Terms
Any purchase in one of the stores participating in the loyalty programme or on www.nicolas.com earns points according to the following scale:
1 euro spent = 1 point.
Points accumulated in the loyalty account are credited to the holder at the checkout or on www.nicolas.com upon presentation of their NICOLAS PRIVILÈGE Card.
The scale for earning points is freely set by NICOLAS, which may modify it at any time on its own initiative. Customers will be informed of the new scale in force by any means NICOLAS deems appropriate, for example by notices displayed in stores participating in the loyalty programme or by a letter sent to cardholders.
Points start accumulating on your MAISON NICOLAS Card from your first purchase.
Your card has a number that identifies the point transactions made. Points earned on purchases made in stores participating in the loyalty programme or on www.nicolas.com will be credited to your account immediately. You can check your “points balance” at any time on www.nicolas.com or in any participating Nicolas store.
If purchases are paid for without presenting the MAISON NICOLAS loyalty card, no points will be credited.
If products that earned points on your account are returned, the corresponding number of points will be deducted from your MAISON NICOLAS card balance.
If a product that earned points is exchanged, the corresponding number of points will not be credited a second time.
On 31 January each year, unused loyalty points earned more than 18 months earlier will be deleted.
If the points are not used before this expiry date, they will be permanently deleted.
Once you have earned enough points, simply go to one of the MAISON NICOLAS stores participating in the loyalty programme and, upon presentation of your privilege card only, exchange your points for anything you like in the store.
To find out the value of your points in euros, simply divide the number of points by 50. Example: 150 points / 50 = €3.
This conversion calculation is not contractually binding; the conditions for awarding points and their value may be modified unilaterally by ETABLISSEMENTS NICOLAS.
Points can be converted against the full market value of one or more products; no cash compensation is possible. Conversion is based on non-promotional prices.
Points may under no circumstances be converted into cash.
The purchase of a gift card (which is a means of payment) does not earn loyalty points;
The recipient/holder of the gift card earns loyalty points when using the card if they have joined the loyalty programme.
The sale, purchase, brokering, resale, bartering or exchange of MAISON NICOLAS points is strictly prohibited. In this respect, MAISON NICOLAS reserves the right to take any legal action necessary to defend its interests.
For any dispute, you may write to NICOLAS FIDELITE - 1, rue des Oliviers - 94320 THIAIS.
Stores participating in the loyalty programme may ask you to prove your identity. Failing such proof, the store may refuse to grant you the benefits of the loyalty scheme.
Changes to your data
Changes / accuracy of data: Any change of address, name or any other information that may be necessary must be notified by updating it directly on the “www.nicolas.com” website, in the “loyalty area” section, by logging in with your email address and password.
The member guarantees the accuracy of all information provided and shall be solely responsible for any incorrect, incomplete or out-of-date information. If you wish to return your loyalty card, you can send it back to us with your instructions to the following address: NICOLAS FIDELITE - 1, rue des Oliviers
94320 THIAIS.
If you wish to delete your account, you can do so in your “loyalty area” on www.nicolas.com, in the “cancellation” section.
Loss, theft or damage: If the loyalty card is lost or stolen, the customer must report the loss to their wine merchant or cancel their card from their customer area. Once the loss has been reported, the card will be scheduled for deletion. The customer must also collect a new card in store, without activating it, and enter the new number within 10 days of collecting the new card in the “Link my card” section of their loyalty area. The customer must not activate this new card beforehand in order to link it. Points from the old card will be transferred to a new privilege card only if the holder’s name is identical on both cards.
The customer may request the number of their old card in any participating Nicolas store or from the loyalty department.
If the card is lost or stolen, the card issuer is released from all liability, and the benefits remaining on the card once deactivation has taken effect will be transferred to the new card, provided that the customer has reported the loss or theft in accordance with the process described above.
If the customer does not report their card lost or stolen, or delays in doing so, MAISON NICOLAS cannot be held liable for points debited before the loss or theft of the NICOLAS privilege card concerned was reported.
MAISON NICOLAS accepts no liability in the event of fraudulent or improper use of the card or use in breach of these terms of use.
Furthermore, MAISON NICOLAS reserves the right to take any action it deems appropriate in the event of improper or fraudulent use of the loyalty card.
Other conditions
These terms of use may be amended or supplemented at any time. Likewise, the Loyalty programme may be shortened, interrupted or discontinued. You will be informed of such situations by any means MAISON NICOLAS deems appropriate.
If the loyalty programme is discontinued, the points earned by the member may be used for 18 months, exclusively in a NICOLAS store (excluding franchises) in mainland France, from the date of the last purchase made in one of the stores participating in the programme. Beyond 18 months from the last purchase, the points earned by the member of the Loyalty programme will be permanently lost.
The General and Special Conditions are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to the performance and/or interpretation of these conditions shall be brought before the courts of CRETEIL (France).
