Fruity and well-rounded

Yellow colour with bright golden hues. Powerful nose of yellow fruits, candied fruits, hints of citrus zest, white chocolate and vanilla. Nice balance on a round whisky despite its degree, fruity and vanilla with a touch of sweetness. Good finesse, straightforward, straightforward and quite greedy.

Caractéristiques

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

  • MORTLACH

    Mortlach 12 Year Old is a vibrant and bold single malt. Aged in Bourbon and Sherry casks, it stands out from other Speyside malts by its incredible intensity, but also by its airy, light and lively character. Its liquid is characterised by robust, peat-free aromas. Known as 'The Beast of Dufftown', Mortlach is unusual in its brewing process. Mortlach benefits from a very short fermentation of 50 hours, revealing the liveliness of the whisky, followed by a very long fermentation of 120 hours, bringing all its power to the malt.
