Le domaine et l'appellation

  • Distillerie artisanale Hepp

    The Hepp family has been distilling fruit for 3 generations. It was René who set up his distillery in Uberach in Alsace. His grandson Yannick, passionate about his job as a distiller, curious about everything and keen to take advantage of the brewing tradition in Alsace, turned to the production of French whiskies, exclusively single malts, at the instigation of his father Tharcis in 2007. With his 3 Carl 400-litre stills (the Rolls Royce of stills), Yannick produces whiskies of impeccable technical quality and flavour. In 15 years he has already built up a stock of more than 3,500 barrels, taking care to leave a significant proportion for ageing each year. In its range of Single Malts, OUSIKY by Hepp, created in 2019, is the most successful.

    Ce whisky est aussi étonnant que son orthographe! Un whisky sans grande prétention au niveau de son prix mais excellent au niveau de son goût ! Je le recommande les yeux fermés et je le classe dans le top 3 de mes whisky à déguster en mode chill!
