A historic brewery at the gateway to the Black Forest (founded in 1782). Hirsch brews highly drinkable beers in accordance with the precepts of the Rheinheitsgebot, a 1516 law prohibiting the use of ingredients other than barley, wheat, yeast, water and hops in beer production.
