Our oenologists' opinion
Well-rounded
A pale mahogany colour with deep orange highlights, limpid and brilliant.
The nose is open, frank, spicy and delicious, with aromas of orange peel, caramel, vanilla and a touch of dried apricot.
The attack is round and mouth-watering, full-bodied with notes of toasted wood and candied yellow fruit, the alcohol melting perfectly, adding a pleasant sweetness.
The finish is rich and powerful, with a long aftertaste of toasted wood, black pepper and a hint of spice.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

DON PAPA
Don Papa Baroko is made on the island of Negros, Philippines. It is distilled from molasses known locally as ‘black gold’, which comes from one of the island's many local mills.
It is then aged for several years in American oak casks.
Our Master Blender then selects the most expressive casks, looking for those with the best flavour.
