Robert et Marcel
Located on the hill of Saint-Cyr-en-Bourg, Saumur Cave now comes under the identity of its two founders "Robert and Marcel". This wine cooperative is one of the few in France to have a common set of specifications requiring 100% of its winegrowers to practice winemaking while respecting the environment.
- Terroir: Composed of 300 members, the vineyards cover over 1,800 hectares.
- Viticulture: All winegrowers from the cooperative carry the label « AgriConfiance ».
- Vinification: The tank fermentation lasts between 1 and 4 weeks and precedes a fermentation with oak barrels or vats.
