Fruity and well-rounded
Dark ruby colour with black tints, fruity nose of black fruit syrup, cherry coulis, hints of violets, good balance on a full-bodied, round wine, soft tannins, character that goes towards the spices of the garrigue, frank and fairly long finish.
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.
Domain and appellation
A major pillar of the cooperative, our artisan winemakers are large families, farmers with a big heart, passionate farmers from father to son or neo-rurals in search of authenticity.
All of them patiently repeat their gestures, vintage after vintage, the fruit of a know-how passed on by the elders, and supported by our wine experts.
We respect a method of vinification and cultivation that has been handed down for several generations and which exalts the terroir of Vacqueyras. We carefully select the best plots, after a tasting by our cellar master. The vinification takes place in thermo-regulated vats to extract the maximum amount of aromas.
