Our oenologists' opinion

Fruity and well-rounded

White gold colour with rose gold highlights, clear and shiny. Open nose with notes of grapefruit and aniseed, with a hint of lilac. Supple, pearly attack, with notes of lilac, marshmallow and salt stone. Powerful, sapid finish, hint of white pepper, good balance, nice persistence on candied lemon and powdery notes.

Light pink

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

Domain and appellation

  • Château Minuty

The Château Minuty is a magnificent estate situated on the Saint-Tropez Peninsula. This authentic provencal property, dating back to the 18th century, houses a chapel and an imposing Napoleon III building which are a delight for the visitors.

    • Terroir: The Châteu's vineyard, stretching over 70 hectares, overlooks the gulf of Saint-Tropez and is composed of old provencal grape varieties rigorously selected and distributed, depending on the nobility of the land and its exposure , on the Gassin hillsides.
    • Viticulture: The 65 hecatres of vineyards are cultivated in a traditional way (no weedkillers or pesticides) in order to allow the traditional provencal grape varieties to express in plentitude on this terroir which benefits from exceptional sunshine.
    • Vinification: Direct pressing, rigorous settling and fermentation at a low temperature.
