Domain and appellation

  • Louis Jadot

This prestigious Burgundy Maison dates back to 1826 when the Jadot family bought the Clos des Ursules domain. Officially established in 1859, the Louis Jadot vineyards span all across Burgundy from the Côte de Nuits to the Beaujolais wine regions.

    • Terroir: With 210 hectares scattered all across the region, the notion ofterroir can only be mentioned in a plural form. The Maison Louis Jadot produces appellations’ wines that showcase the diversity of the Burgundy terroirs.

    • Viticulture: The domain’s philosophy is driven by the willingness to link past, present, and future. Thankful for what they received, the successive owners have embraced sustainable and environmental-friendly practices in order to preserve the terroirs for upcoming generations.

    • Vinification: Following its main goal of creating wines that speak for their terroirs, the domain try to minimize interventions during the winemaking process.
