Its red brick dress offers an open nose of cherry coulis. The palate has freshness and is characterized with melting tannins.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

Domain and appellation
This prestigious Burgundy Maison dates back to 1826 when the Jadot family bought the Clos des Ursules domain. Officially established in 1859, the Louis Jadot vineyards span all across Burgundy from the Côte de Nuits to the Beaujolais wine regions.
- Terroir: With 210 hectares scattered all across the region, the notion ofterroir can only be mentioned in a plural form. The Maison Louis Jadot produces appellations’ wines that showcase the diversity of the Burgundy terroirs.
- Viticulture: The domain’s philosophy is driven by the willingness to link past, present, and future. Thankful for what they received, the successive owners have embraced sustainable and environmental-friendly practices in order to preserve the terroirs for upcoming generations.
