Fruity and light
Its garnet color offers a nice open nose of floral notes and red fruits with a spicy edge. On the palate, this wine is balanced, straight, frank and round with a nice length on licorice.
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

“Coteaux Bourguignons" is an expression describing Grande Bourgogne as a whole, as it existed in earlier times, before Beaujolais claimed its independence in 1959. Created in 2011, this new appellation extends over the territory of Grande Bourgogne, from Chablis in Burgundy to Beaujolais.

Maison Jean Loron
Although Jean Loron was the first in the family line to practise winemaking in 1711, the maison was formally established by his grandson Jean Marie Loron in 1821. This brand is now an international success thanks to wines that are memorable for their consistency and longevity.
- Terroir: The Maison Jean Loron spreads across 135 hectares of vines located in 6 domains across Macon and Belleville sur Saone. The wines are issued from 6 different appellations.
- Viticulture: A contract established with over 50 winegrowers as well as a thorough selection help to only obtain qualitative grapes.
- Vinification: A vinification in the best Burgundian tradition and a long fermentation, gave an original wine with a strong identity.
