Fruity and well-rounded
Its dark garnet colour brings out a pretty aroma of black fruit and sweet spices. As for the taste, this wine is balanced, typed, nervous, frank, fine, open, fairly full-bodied and has a nice envelope with a finish with ripe, velvety tannins. Lovely wine.
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Nestled at the foot of the Dentelles, the Domaine de Longue Toque was established in 1918. Its name comes from long groves, called "touque" in Provençal, once used to delimit plots and protect the Mistral. This 27-hectare vineyard products 3 appellations: Gigondas (18 hectares), Vacqueyras (7 hectares) and Côtes du Rhône Villages Plan de Dieu (2 hectares).
- Terroir: The Syrah and Grenache are from the land of "Montmirail" on the sandy marls of the Oligocene, 150m above sea level. This wine is also produced by Syrah from the land of "La Jasse" on marl and limestone of Cretaceous origin, 400m above sea level.
- Viticulture: The field practices viticulture. The harvest is manual.
- Vinification: A maceration for 24 days at 28 ° -30 ° C precedes the separation of wines and press wines. After malolactic fermentation, the different varieties are blended and the wine is then aged for 18 months in barrels (new barrels, one and two wines).
