Our oenologists' opinion

Fruity and crisp

Its light straw color offers an open nose on mimosa with fresh notes of anise and white peach. On the palate, this wine is balanced, nervous and palatable.

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Do you know ?

The wine can age on the lees. It means that the deposits left in the tank after the fermentation remain present during the ageing phase in order to give roundness and aromas to the wine.

Domain and appellation

  • Domaine Belleville

In 2010, Alexandre Belleville continued the work and expertise of three generations. On this small domaine in Menetou Salon, Alexandre and Fanny have chosen to act with respect to the soil, the vine and the wine. Thus, the wines of the Domaine Belleville express the personality of a young winemaker and the identity of a surprising terroir.

    • Vinification: Direct pressing and traditional vinification. Fermentation takes place in thermos-regulated stainless steel vats. The wine is then matured on fine lees with regular stirring.
