Well-rounded

Brick colour with dark tiled highlights, roasted pepper, blackcurrant coulis, blueberry and burnt horn aromas, balanced on a rather round and supple, warm attack, nice character with animal and roasted notes, supple and melted finish with a hint of red berries.

Features

Body The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Domain and appellation

CHÂTEAU CORBIN

Purchased in 1948 by the Rambeaud family, this former 17th century property offers a range of elegant, fruity AOC Montagne St-Emilion and Saint Georges St-Emilion wines with silky tannins.
Terroir: The 23-hectare vineyard surrounds this former Seigneurie, built in 1606.
Vinification: A maceration of 20 to 25 days in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats is followed by an ageing in oak barrels for 12 months.
