Fruity and well-rounded
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

Domain and appellation
Château de la Terrière Brouilly Autour du Puit
The Château de la Terrière has stood, since the 16th century, in Cercié in the heart of the Beaujolais region. It is one of the oldest estates in the region. The vines, over an area totalling 28 hectares, have an average age of 50 years and extend south, halfway up the slopes, on a pink granite hill, mixing sand and pebbles, with deep reserves of clay. The objective of Grégory Barbet, manager and Yoan Pittoiset, the winemaker, is to give the wine time to fully develop its expression and to reflect the complexity of the terroir. Here we produce a brouilly that is both fleshy and very round.
