Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

The wine can age on the lees. It means that the deposits left in the tank after the fermentation remain present during the ageing phase in order to give roundness and aromas to the wine.

    Founded in 1620, the Maison Lorgeril is an independent, family wine producer, owner of 6 domaines throughout the French Western Mediterranean, between Languedoc and Roussillon. It produces wines of 9 different AOC designations.


    • Terroir: Pays d'Oc wines come from a terroir marked by an exceptional type of climate. The vines grow in clay-limestone soils.


    • Viticulture: Harvests are done during the night.


    • Vinification: Direct pressing at low pressure. Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel thermo-regulated vats followed by ageing on lees for 2 months with stirring done weekly.
