Pale peach colour with rose gold highlights. Straightforward nose, techno, with red fruit and citrus notes of pomelo. Notes of cranberry, strawberry and cherry. Lively attack, tension, freshness. Greedy and fruity length. Good tension. Clean and sapid finish. Acidic touch. Freshness.

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

Do you know ?

From the Pays d'Oc, in the south of France, did you know that Les Jamelles wines were created and have been vinified for 25 years by Catherine Delaunay, who is of Burgundian origin.

Domain and appellation

  • Les Jamelles

"Clair de Rose" is the quintessential rosé according to Les Jamelles. For once, it is a blend of two grape varieties, Grenache and Cinsault. The result is a subtle, well-balanced wine: elegant and delicious, floral and fruity, fresh and round on the palate... With its pretty light pink colour, Les Jamelles Clair de Rose is perfectly balanced, fresh, lively and round, with floral and fruity aromas of raspberry and grenadine.
