Fruity and well-rounded

Open nose of raspberries and blood orange, with hints of boxwood and pepper.

Good balance, straightforward, fairly full-bodied and fleshy.

Lovely character, tannins that will mellow, good length.

Features

    Located on the hillside of Saint-Cyr-en-Bourg, the Cave de Saumur now presents itself under the identity of its two founders, Robert and Marcel. This cooperative winery with its avant-garde image is one of the few in France to have a common set of specifications requiring 100% of its winegrowers to use environmentally-friendly viticultural practices.
