Our oenologists' opinion

Fruity and well-rounded

Light yellow colour with green highlights. Frank nose, on white flesh fruits, vanilla notes, exotic fruits. Supple attack of the envelope, tension, balance. Frank length. Character on citrus fruits, tension, body without heaviness. Good persistence.

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Les Petites Récoltes also takes particular care to select winegrowers who are committed to the practice of sustainable agriculture, concerned with the quality and quantity of their harvest as well as encouraging more respectful practices.

Domain and appellation

  • Les petites récolte

The "Les petites récoltes" range is the result of a collaboration between Nicolas and the wineries capable of making the most of the terroir around them. Their specificity? A multitude of regional grape varieties associated with the "classic" grape varieties of the appellations, for blends in search of fruitiness and freshness, which adapt to the evolution of desires and tastes. Nicolas' oenologists work out the quality of the new vintages each year and blend them to give the best possible expression of the vintage. This exclusive blending, done with method and rigour, then requires bottling in excellent conditions of control both from the point of view of health and respect for the original quality of the wines. This technicality is guaranteed in the bottling plants chosen by Nicolas.
