Fruity and well-rounded

Clean nose with toasty notes, followed by aromas of fresh spices, pepper, curry and peppermint.

Supple attack with good balance, revealing flavours of fresh mint and vanilla.

Soft, sapid finish, with mellow tannins.

    A typical Bordeaux grape variety, Merlot benefits from a Mediterranean climate in the Pays d'Oc, allowing it to assert its fleshy, fruity character. Merlot wines are of the highest quality, with light tannins that can be enjoyed young or aged for several years. For its Merlot Grande Réserve, Maison Castel has selected the best plots in the Aude department in the Pays d'Oc Protected Geographical Indication. This department has a more contrasting Mediterranean climate, with cooler nights and later ripening, which brings tension and freshness. It is in these later-ripening terroirs that Maison Castel observes, analyses and tastes the grapes from each plot almost daily to determine the best harvest date...

    découverte de la maison Castel sur ce petit vin qui vaut largement un très bon vin (boisé , légérement fumé ) pour 6,90€ NE PAS HESITER !!!
