    Château Terfort, a family-owned wine estate, is located in the commune of Sainte-Croix-du-Mont.
    Facing the Garonne River and enjoying a south-southwest exposure, its vineyards, planted on the first slopes, benefit from maximum sunlight.

     

    Thanks to its proximity to the river, the estate is enveloped in morning and evening mists during the late season, encouraging the development of Botrytis cinerea, the noble rot essential to crafting Bordeaux’s finest sweet white wines.

     

    Born from a clay-limestone terroir, the wines reveal remarkable complexity and longevity.


    To limit soil erosion on the steep slopes, partial grass cover is maintained.The harvest, carried out entirely by hand, involves multiple selective pickings to ensure only perfectly ripened berries are gathered over several weeks.
