Powerful bouquet

Amber colour with copper highlights, clear and brilliant. The nose is open with notes of walnut, prunes and patchouli, a hint of milk chocolate and caramel. Round, greedy attack, with plum syrup, vanilla and spices. Good balance on candied prune and fruit alcohol. Full, greedy finish, persistence on walnut and plum confit, hint of caramel and black pepper.

Caractéristiques

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

The quality and the taste of this one of a kind Porto received a gold medal from Monde Selection in 2013.

    The Porto São Pedro das Águias 10 years is one of a kind. As an oxidation wine, it is the result of the assembly of several vintages coming from diverse harvests. Many red grape varieties from the region of Douro have been vinified to elaborate these wines.
