    It is Shinjiro Torii who is credited with this Single Malt No.1 in Japan. He was the one who introduced whisky to the Japanese, and Japanese whisky to the world as early as 1929.

     

    Yamazaki is the perfect blend of Scottish craftsmanship and Japanese refinement.

     

    Made from a combination of Mizunara oak casks, a mythical Japanese tree, and casks that previously held sherry or Bordeaux wines, this non-age-stated whisky is crafted in a distillery built in 1923, located in Shimamoto in the Osaka prefecture, Japan.

     

    The quality of the water and the humidity create an ideal environment for production.
