A native of Spain, the Solera system is a method of assembly and aging developed over 500 years. The barrels are stacked on several levels, depending on their age and profile (older rums at the bottom and the younger ones above) enabling a "continuous connection" in order to fill the part of angels in barrels.

Arcane
Located in the heart of the Indian Ocean, l’île Maurice is a paradise for sugarcanes. Created by four friends and enthusiasts, the Arcane brand, meaning "art of the cane," is different from other rums for it's taste of great subtlety.
Distillery: The Arcane rums are produced in 2 distilleries: Gray's and La Bourdonnais.
Manufacturing: Made exclusively from sugarcane juice, this rum is aged 12 years in former bourbon casks in the Solera system.
