Powerful bouquet

Straw colour with some golden, shiny reflections, fine, regular and persistant bubbles, nice rich and elegant nose of blackcurrant syrup, honeysuckle, linden, cinamon, chocolate and notes of sweet spices with a nice full bodied balance. Fresh finish with a mineral, stylish finish. Beautiful original Champagne thanks to its fruitiness, it character, which mixes fresh and blooming notes, its balance which keeps the freshness while still being vinous and its creamy bubbles. Nice discovery.

Features

Body The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Domain and appellation

VRANKEN

Vranken Brut Rétro is a timeless brut from a traditional Champagne blend. The liquor dosage added as a final touch to the manufacturing of our champagnes, is seen here embellished with a touch of "Cognac spirit". This Cognac Spirit which is one of Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée (AOC), is obtained after the third distillation of Cognac and exculsively destined for the manufacture of sparkling wine. Thus deposited the greatest secret of the cellar master which allows this cuvée to unveil its force, power and reveal its white fruit aromas like quince and yellow fruits like mirabelle.
