Our oenologists' opinion
Fruity and crisp
Blonde beer with a creamy head, dense, with good body. Straw-coloured with a golden hue. Typical frank nose, on citrus fruits, exotic fruits. Light supple attack, freshness, good bitterness and typicality. Frank length on citrus fruits, spicy touch. Good persistence.
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.
Domain and appellation
Goose IPA is an India Pale Ale originally from Chicago, Illinois and brewed by the Goose Island Beer Company. A beer with a hoppy character produced by this brewery created in 1988 in the form of a Brewpub which evolved in 1995 into the current structure.
In the glass, this beer reveals a slightly cloudy coppery orange color that is dominated by a creamy off-white and lasting head.
