Our oenologists' opinion

Powerful bouquet

Its light straw color with green hues offers a pure and airy nose of yellow fruit, as well as vanilla with menthol and quince notes. On the palate, this wine is balanced, distinct, fine, full-bodied and lively with a rounded, long finish. Firm, sapid wine with beautiful tension.

Robe
Straw with green tints

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Do you know ?

In Galician folklore, Deusa Nai is the name of a goddess who represented Earth’s fertility.

Domain and appellation

  • Marqués de Cáceres

Founded in 1970 by Enrique Former as a cooperative winery, the Maison Marqués de Cáceres remains anchored in a high end dynamic today. Recommended by several major figures in wine like Michel Rolland, the Maison has made the Rioja appellation one of the most prestigious in the world.

    • Terroir: The grapes selected for this wine come from small vineyards located in the commune of O Rosal. They grow in a mainly granitic, sandy soil.

    • Viticulture: Harvests are done manually.

    • Vinification: Not aged in barrels. The wine is aged 3 months in the bottle before being offered for sale.
