Our oenologists' opinion
Fruity and crisp
Its straw color with green highlights offers a fresh nose of acacia, white peach, citrus and pineapple. On the palate, this wine is balanced, light and nervous.
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Domain and appellation
Cave de Tain l'HermitageFounded in 1933 by Louis Gambert of Loche, the Cave de Tain benefits from the expertise of 300 winemakers spread over 1000 hectares of vineyards to produce wines with appellations Hermitage, Crozes Hermitage, Saint Joseph, Cornas and Saint Péray as well as local wines.
- Terroir: The Marsanne grape variety is based on the cooler slopes of the left bank of the Rhône on sandy soils.
- Viticulture: The yields of these plots are limited so as to ensure optimum ripeness of the grapes.
- Vinification: The vinification takes place at low temperature in stainless steel vats. The wine is then matured on fine lees with stirring for 4 months.
- Marsanne : 100%
