Fruity and well-rounded
Its purple robe with garnet reflections offers an open nose with aromas of roasted black fruit, licorice, chocolate and mocha with woody notes. In the mouth, it is balanced and has a beautiful shell with tannins, freshness and a nice mineral and spicy finish that lingers.
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

Biodynamic viticulture is based on the research of the balance of the vines with his immediate and more distant environment. This method appeared in 1924, under the influence of Rudolf Steiner, an Austrian philosopher and agronomist.
Domain and appellation
Paul Achs the area is located north of Burgenland, in the commune of Gols that enjoys a growing reputation for its red wines.
- Terroir: The 22 hecatres vineyard (42 plots), on 9 different cru of the area, is based on black soil and gravel.
- Vitivulture: The field practice biodynamic viticulture.
- Vinification: Made only from zwelget, the wine is aged in oak barrels.
