Powerful bouquet

Dark garnet colour with brick tints. Discreet nose, needs opening, then notes of black pepper, menthol, liquorice and redcurrant gratin, hint of cocoa. Velvety, fleshy, vinous attack, good tension. Lovely character with candied cherry and dark chocolate, lovely finesse. Full-bodied finish, with hints of mocha and bay leaf sauce.

Domain and appellation

DOMAINE P & L BORGEOT

Domaine Borgeot, located in the village of Remigny, in the south of the Côte de Beaune, currently harvests a total of 23 hectares. The estate was founded in 1903 and is now run by Laurent and Pascal who represent the fourth generation of the Borgeot family. The vineyards extend over the villages of Bouzeron, Santenay, Chassagne-Montrachet and Puligny Montrachet.
