Fruity and well-rounded

Light yellow colour with green highlights. Clean floral nose, opening onto citrus aromas, woody and vanilla notes. Supple attack, well-balanced and round, lingering with brioche notes. Typical frank character, with aromas of acacia. Good persistence.

Domain and appellation

  • CHÂTEAU DES FINES ROCHES

    Situated between Sorgues and Châteauneuf du Pape, Château des Fines Roches boasts medieval-style architecture with battlements, machicolations and mullioned windows dating from the 19th century. The estate has belonged to the Mousset family since 1832.

            Terroir: The 45-hectare estate is planted on pebbly soil with a clay subsoil. Viticulture: The vines are on average 40 years old, and are planted with Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, Muscardin and Mourvèdre. Vinification: Vinification takes place cold (16-18°C) in concrete vats. The wine is then matured for 8 months in concrete vats.
