Well-rounded

Dark garnet colour with brick tints, opaque and brilliant. The nose is quite open, with notes of black pepper, menthol, burnt wood and pepper, and a hint of fresh blackcurrant. Round, ample, balanced attack, with notes of coffee liqueur, vanilla wood, toasted coconut, fairly long tannins, to be patinated. Finish on cocoa and coffee, roasted, fairly well balanced, medium persistence on black pepper and capsicum
