Powerful bouquet

Straw-coloured robe. Frank nose, on ripe pineapple, exotic fruits, spicy notes, fresh ginger. Full-bodied attack, fullness, tension. Frank length on exotic fruits, beeswax, quince, tension. Character with notes of ginger. Freshness. Good sapid persistence.

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Domain and appellation

MARIE MARIA

The real structuring of our vineyard began with the foundation of the Madiran monastery in 1030. Monks from the abbey of Marcilhac sur Célé (Lot) settled down and dedicated a monastery to Mary. Very quickly, the fame of Madiran wine was assured by the pilgrims of St Jacques de Compostelle taking the Aire s/l'Adour-Lescar route, passing through Saint Mont and Madiran... It is this tradition that our winegrowers maintain today under the banner of the Vignobles Marie Maria, which federates some of the most beautiful vineyards and terroirs of the appellation.
