Domain and appellation
Founded in 1820 by John Walker in Kilmarnock in Scotland, it is now owned by Diageo. Official supplier to the Court of England since 1934, it is one of the best selling brands of Scotch in the world.
- Distillery: Johnnie Walker has access to the best Scotch whiskies. Single malts used in the preparation of its Labels come from several distilleries such as Clynelish and Royal Lochnagar, both located in the Highlands, Speyside Cardhu to or Talisker, on the Isle of Skye.
- Manufacturing: The Gold Label Reserve is a blend of different drums of Johnnie Walker reservation. Developed by the master assembler Jim Beveridge, recognized by his peers as one of the best whisky assemblers, this blend is composed of 15 single malts aged from 15 to 18 years.
