Powerful bouquet

Its light straw color offers a smell and air with aromas of yellow fruit, dried apricots, nutmeg and pistachios. As for the taste, this wine has typed a nice balance. It is right, full-bodied, full and ample with a nice down on the melting bubbles. Beautiful wine.

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

In 2009 the seat of the House Jacquart moved into the former hotel of Brimont, built by architect Paul Blondel at the request of André Ruinart of Brimont.

Domain and appellation

  • Jacquart

    Founded in 1962 in Reims, Jacquart is a cooperative of 1,800 members. The estate is spread over 2600 hectares mainly classified as Premiers Crus and Grands Crus.
     
    • Terroir : 350 hectares are dedicated to Jacquart Champagnes with over 60 wines distributed in the Côte des Blancs, Reims Mountain, the Valley of the Marne and the Côte des Bar.

     

    • Viticulture: The grapes are carefully sorted and hand picked at ideal ripeness of the grapes.

     

    • Vinification : The first alcoholic fermentation is carried out in temperature-controlled vats, followed by malolactic fermentation. Bottled, the wine will start its second alcoholic fermentation and will then rest on the lees slowly between 5 and 6 years, providing a more pronounced maturity.
