Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

MAISON CASTEL
Pinot Noir is grown particularly extensively in northern vineyards, but it also flourishes in the Pays d'Oc. In the Mediterranean climate, this precocious grape variety easily reaches maturity to produce refined rosés. With its Pays d'Oc Protected Geographical Indication, Maison Castel's Grande Réserve rosé Pinot Noir is the fruit of a selection of the best plots from different terroirs. On the one hand, the Villafranchian terraces in the Hérault hinterland, a late-ripening terroir whose coolness enables the grapes to ripen more precisely, producing more balanced wines. On the other, the dry lagoon of Marseillette, a vineyard in the Aude department with clay soils and a deep layer of salts, reminiscent of the terroir of Provence.
