Domain and appellation
Cub. Collection Nicolas
Established on both sides of the Dordogne river, the Bergerac vineyard spreads across 13,000 hectares of vines and 93 villages. This regional appellation is comprised of 13 sub-appellations.
- Terroir: Overlooking the Dordogne Valley, the vines lay on lacustrine and marine limestone, boulbène, sands, clays and silts soils.
- Viticulture: Bordeaux grape varieties are dominant.
- Vinification: The region produces as much red wines as white wines, both in Bordeaux blends. Those wines result from the collaboration between the maison Nicolas and local wine cellars, which are selected for their abilities to enhance their surrounding terroirs.
Grapes Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec
- Cabernet Sauvignon
- Cabernet Franc
