Our oenologists' opinion

Fruity and light

Its pale straw color offers a nose that opens with notes of white fruit, passion fruit, and peaches in syrup. On the palate, this wine has a good balance, with roundness, powerfull, sweetness and a nice fruit. Gourmet and fresh final.

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Domain and appellation

  • Plaimont Producteurs

Located in the heart of the South West, the Plaimont vineyard stretches from the foothills of the Pyrenees to the rolling hills of Gascogne, on land of unique richness. With their different autochthonous varieties, their know-how and their requirements, the winemakers have managed to sublimate the terroirs of the appellations Madiran, Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh, Saint Mont and Côtes de Gascogne.

    • Terroir: It is particularly in the clay areas of Condom and the more sandy-gravelly areas of the south-west of the department that Gros Manseng to produce grapes that are both rich, aromatic and lively.

    • Viticulture: The protection of the vineyard is reasoned thanks to tools and techniques of last generation. The harvests are delayed until mid-October to allow a concentration of the Bay Heart during the Gascon summer. The grapes takes place at night, thus preserving all the aromatic freshness of Gascogne up to the cellar.
