Château du Galoupet
Located on the maritime border, this Cru AOC classified Côtes de Provence since 1955, is one of the largest wineries in the appellation. The Galoupet Castle is one of the few properties in Provence to benefit from an underground cellar.
- Terroir: The vineyard of 72 hectares is based on calcite schist hillsides.
- Viticulture: The grapes from old vines which are harvested by hand.
- Vinification: A long maceration for 2 to 3 weeks precedes aging in oak barrels, selected from the most prestigious French forests for a period of 12-18 months.
