Our oenologists' opinion

Fruity and well-rounded

Its golden yellow color offers a nose to open with candied yellow fruits, cooked prunes, a honeyed tip and white chocolate. In the mouth this wine is balanced, with nerve, and a nice smoothness.

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Style ? Dry wines are acidic, lively and fresh while sweet wines are soft and feel round in the mouth.

Do you know ?

There are two ways to produce sweet wines. The”easiest” way consists of adding sugar during the vinification and then to stop the alcoholic fermentation with suffers, a process called chaptalisation. The other way helps produce more qualitative types of wines and require to control the grapes ripeness in the vineyard.
