Our oenologists' opinion

Well-rounded

Pale yellow colour with straw hues. Rather large bubbles that persist in a cordon. Open nose of mentholated notes, white flowers, almonds, mineral hints and white fruits. Greedy attack, on present bubbles, rather creamy. Character of candied white fruits and white flowers. The dosage is quite present but remains balanced. Finish on candied white fruits.

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Do you know ?

In viticultural and oenological terminology, grume is an old noun for the grape. Grumer means to take a sip of wine into the bottom of the mouth before bringing it forward by tilting the head.

Domain and appellation

  • NICOLAS

A new member of the Grumes family: Les Grumes "Les Bulles"! Let yourself be tempted by this sparkling wine made from the best terroirs of northern Italy, carefully selected by Nicolas.
Its beautiful freshness and lightness are the result of a method invented by Federico Martinotti in 1895 and patented by Eugène Charmat in 1907, which consists of making the sparkling wine in a vat, under pressure, and not directly in the bottle. Used throughout the world, this process is used to make the famous Prosecco.

To be enjoyed with friends as an aperitif or with the family at parties and celebrations, it is also perfect for adding a touch of originality to cocktails such as the Spritz or the Bellini!
