Our oenologists' opinion
Fruity and crisp
With its straw color with green reflections, this wine offers you a pretty frank and open nose with fresh menthol notes, fresh hazelnut, notes of fresh apricot and jasmine. On the palate, it presents a nice balance, frank, pretty frank and fruity character with aromas of pineapple, fresh apricot, floral notes. Frank, straight, fresh and delicious finish. To taste with creamy fish and white meat ...
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Domain and appellation
The "Petites Recoltes" range is the result of a collaboration between Nicolas and cellars able to better use the land around them. Their specificity? A multitude of regional varieties associated with "traditional" varieties of Appellations for assemblies in search of fruitiness and freshness, that adapt to the desires and tastes of consumers. Nicolas' Oenologists annually assess the quality of new vintages and decide the assembly and dosages.
