Our oenologists' opinion

Well-rounded

Fresh fragrances of lime, verbena and fern mixed with vanilla scents are released by this gold wine. Supple and round, the attack follows this tendency with a nice vanilla taste. It is followed by a great balance before a tasteful finish. It unveils a more mineral side, with flavors of brioche and grilled bread. This wine is to be kept.

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Domain and appellation

    • Terroir: The vineyard extends on 1,20 hectares.

    • Viticulture: The average age of the vines is 25 years old. A reasoned struggle is adopted.

    • Wine-making: The grape is subjected to a low-pressure pressing before a long fermentation in oak tanks whose 25% are new. Then the wine ages during 12 months on thin dregs.
