Gassac Valley is characterized by its cold microclimate, very conducive to the development of vineyards. 

Domain and appellation

  • Guibert

    Created by the Guibert family in the 70s, this area of the Valley of Gassac developed under the guidance of leading experts such as Henry and Emile Peynaud Enjalbert.
     
    • Terroir: The vines of Mas de Daumas Gassac are based on a floor of red ice grèzes. This exceptional soil has many qualities. There is both deep, drained, poor in hummus and rich in minerals.

     

    • Viticulture: The development of organic farming practices and deep respect for the ecosystem surrounding the vines greatly contribute to the quality of the estate wines. The harvest is manual.

     

    • Vinification: The classic wine is characterized by a long period of maceration and aged for 12 to 15 months in oak barrels aged 1 to 7 years.
