Our oenologists' opinion

Well-rounded

Discover the refreshing fragrances of red fruits and cranberries released by this rosé champagne. Full-bodied, it is also well-balanced and shows a real personality. In the mouth, notes of red fruits ally with a menthol point. It brings freshness and greediness to the whole. The bubble is thin, enjoyable and persistent.

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Do you know ?

The rosé champagnes can be developed by bleeding but also by assembly of red and white wines. The appellation Champenoise is the only one with the right to use this process by assembling.

Domain and appellation

  • Pommery

Established in 1858 by Alexandre Louis Pommery as a wool and wine house, Pommery established itself as a leader on the Champagne market thanks to the innovative and entrepreneurial spirit of Louise Pommery. Forerunner in business, it also set the foundation of what is today known as corporate philanthropy by imagining a purposeful redistribution of the maison’s wealth.
