Fruity and light
Let yourself be amazed by the alliance between fruity fragrances such as blackcurrant and violet and the refreshing one recalling one sweet pepper and released by the wine. At tasting, it is very enjoyable. Indeed, it has an incomparable taste and greediness. Tannins are matured and melted, slightly enveloped.
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

Domain and appellation
This wine is made of only one grape variety, the Cabernet franc. Chinon has become a controlled designation in 1937. The Chinon is sometimes qualified as an intellectual wine. It would be the result of the writer François Rabelais, born in Chinon in 1494.
- Wine-making: The grape is harvested at its optimum maturity. The grapes are entirely destemmed and macerate during 10 to 15 days. This step is followed by the alcoholic fermentation and the malolactic fermentation. Temperatures are carefully controlled.
