Well-rounded

Its dark garnet color offers a pretty nose that opens to fine woody notes of black fruits and grilled. As for the taste, it has a nice balance and scale. It is meaty and spicy with ripe, velvety tannins. Lovely wine.

  • Château Baron Pichon-Longueville

    Les Tourelles de Longueville, second wine of Château Pichon-Longueville Baron (Second classified growth in 1855), has the know-how of its eldest terroir. Bought in 1987 by the Axa Vintages group, the vineyard wine is produced on the land of St. Anne.
     
     
    • Terroir: This plot of 14 hectares enjoys an oceanic climate and is based on clay and gravel and clay and limestone soils.
     
    • Viticulture: Harvesting is done manually.

     

    • Vinification: Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks for 15 days and above aged for 12 months in French oak barrels (50% new wood / wood 50% a year).
